Have you ever been asked questions about why Catholics hold Mary in such high esteem? Why do we call Mary “Queen”? Is there someplace in the Bible that explains why we revere Mary so much?
Come to our next Bible Study – The Bible and the Virgin Mary. Produced by the same St. Paul Center that gave us Genesis to Jesus, we will study Our Lady in depth. It is beautifully illustrated and offers us insights into our devotion and beliefs concerning Mary. There will be two sessions to choose from, the first beginning on Tuesday, November 2nd, after the 6 pm Mass and the same study beginning on Thursday morning November 4th at 10 am both in the Church office.
This video led program will have workbooks, and there is an optional book, Hail Holy Queen, by Scott Hahn that is a companion book to this study which can be purchased at St Mary’s or on Amazon.
This is a 12 week program. We will do the first six weeks starting the week of November 1st, and continue for six weeks, then take a break for the holidays and reconvene during Lent to complete the second six week sessions. The participant books are around $25.00 each.
