As with all Catholic parishes, the Eucharist is the center of faith and worship for the Holy Rosary community. But there are also many diverse ministries, devotions, prayers, and practices that parishioners are called to that help us live out Christ’s charge to care for our fellow man and celebrate God’s love. Please consider participating in one of or more of these ministries as a participant and/or a volunteer. Remember that volunteers are the life blood of all these programs. Without them, we could not fulfill our mission. There are many opportunities and the various ministries have been divided by either their mission or the committee that oversees the program, while many programs could easily fall into more than one category, you will find them only listed once.
As a ministry feature, we are assisting Caring Choices run by Catholic Charities. This group helps unwed mothers and are looking for donations of crocheted baby hats, booties, kids socks and baby blankets. If you like to crochet, this is a really great way to help out someone in need. If you do not know how to crochet and would like to help, a great way is to donate yarn. This yarn can be dropped off at the parish office.
