Because of Totus Tuus, daily masses for the upcoming week will be at 9 am and there is no Tuesday evening mass.
There will also be a potluck dinner at 5 pm on Wednesday for the entire parish

If you are attending, please see below for a suggestion on what to bring along with beverages for your family:

Last names that begin with:

  • A-M : bring a side or “entree-like” item

Also, as an FYI… one of the missionaries cannot eat red meat and one is allergic to tree-nuts.

Hope you can make plans to join us!

Please welcome our new Deacon!

Deacon Nonso

Please welcome our new deacon: Deacon Nonso Ohanaka.

He will reside with us this summer and plans on being a big help to Father Steiner while he is here with us. Keep him in your prayers, as he will be ordained to the priesthood next year!! Please make him feel at home and comfortable.

Hello, parishioners of Holy Rosary. My name is Deacon Nonso Ohanaka and I am incredibly happy to be with your community for the summer. I have been a seminarian for the diocese for the past six years and I grew up in Nashville. My family is from Nigeria and that is where I was born. I came to the U.S with my parents and siblings when I was five in 2001. We have lived in Nashville since. Most of my extended family is still in Nigeria. I am the oldest of five children: three boys and two girls. My full name is Chukwunonso, which means “God is near.” Being a priest is something that I have always been interested in since I was a little kid. I enjoy learning about how movies are made and I like to play sports. I look forward to getting to know you all.

In Christ, Deacon Nonso

Both groups will meet in the conference room in the Parish office.

This is a six-week study. We will order the participant workbooks. They can be purchased from the office for approximately 23.00 each.

Parking Lot Update – A Letter from Fr. Steiner

Dear Parishioners,

The Church of the Holy Rosary has identified the formal need to enhance our handicapped /assisted parking offerings to our parishioners. We have evaluated the churches demographics and determined that an expansion in providing such amenities to our parishioners is a priority. Our parish is seeing growth and we see the need to expand our accommodations for those in need of handicapped/assisted parking, in a safe and professional manner is of high importance.

The parking lot is to be positioned on corner lot will be on the adjacent corner lot to the church (Gr-aylynn Dr. & Crossfield Dr). This location is ideal for such an asset, as it will allow easy access to the existing zero grade entry on that side of the church.

The new parking lot will provide 10,000 square feet in additional church parking; resulting in approximately 26 additional spaces; 60% Handicapped , 40% intended for those needing enhanced easy access assistance.

We have acquired estimates on the said construction of the parking lot that was recently conducted with the Engineering firm. The budgetary estimate for the construction of the parking lot is in the $165,000 range.

In order for the Holy Rosary Parish to move forward in a timely manner with such an endeavor we are asking for donations, earmarked specifically to support this project.

Please note: Any funds received and noted for this Qroject will be used specifically for this “Parking Lot Construction”.

We are hoping that you would formally consider partnering with The Church of the Holy Rosary on this expansion of assets to our parishioners – thru the means of a financial donation; any and all consideration of such request would be much appreciated.

Our targeted goal for the opening of this new parking lot the 3rd quarter of 2021 (July -Sept).

Thank you for your generosity and consideration!

God Bless you and your families.

Fr. Daniel Steiner
Pastor – The Church of the Holy Rosary
